Police Registration for expats in Chengdu
There is a rulethat expats must finish police station registration in Chengdu within 24 hours after checked in a rented apartment/house(not hotel). And if your visa is renewed or you travel back from other countries(including Hongkong, Taiwan, Macau), you need to renew the registration again within 24 hours.
Documents Required:
1.original passport
2.one piece copy of passport main page, visa page and latest entry stamp
3.original lease contract and its copy
4.one piece copy of landlord’s ID and property certificate
Information you need to know: Phone number of the owner and Chinese contact person; name of work unit
